Capitol Evacuated Because of Power Failure
The Capitol building was evacuated Monday afternoon due to a power failure, television reports say. No word yet on what caused the power failure.

8. LOL!
Good one.

I was in the Capitol last Thursday (my first visit). A Congressman's staffer gave me the tour. It was amazing to me how high that dome looks from the inside, and that it's still not high enough to hold all the hot air. There are at least two paintings in the Rotunda where the artists included themselves in the picture (Hitchcock-style).

You can no longer visit the Senate Gallery, because it's across the hall from Frist's office, and he has barricaded himself in. Perhaps he's awaiting the retaliation for his anthrax attacks...
