House ethics panel not investigating DeLay, other lawmakers
WASHINGTON — The House ethics committee, inactive for more than a year because of partisan disputes, has declined to launch investigations of Rep. Tom DeLay, R-Texas, and other lawmakers accused of ethical lapses.

1. Why Should They Bother Their Beautiful Minds Over That?
It's not like they are getting paid to manage the nation's business, or that their job description includes Congressional ethics violations and oversight.....

8. Good cross ..
It is tumbling, tumbling down ...

There's been a great deal of speculation over the last several days, particularly in the light of Jack Abramoff's recent guilty pleas, concerning the connection of Congressman Bob Ney (R-OH) to Election Fraud in Ohio, vis a vis his stewardship and authoring of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) back in 2001 and 2002. The heavy-handed tactics he has taken since, in order to keep the flawed act from being changed in any way over the years, along with going to great lengths to keep the nation's eyes off of massive electile dysfunction in Ohio and elsewhere since 2004, may finally get the attention it all properly deserves.

Both Abramoff and his partner Michael Scanlon have directly informed prosecutors of Ney's alleged wrong-doing in regard to money and gifts given to Ney, in apparent exchange for support on various legislation and even personal business deals. Ney, who chairs the important U.S. House Administration Committee, has been fingered, and now subpoenaed, for accepting illegal trips, gratuities and other apparent quid pro quo deals with Abramoff's former firms, partners, friends and groups who had paid both him and Scanlon as lobbyists.

Congressman Ney, Jack Abramoff, and Diebold Connected

Congressman Bob Ney of Ohio is in serious legal jeopardy as a result of the Abramoff corruption scandal. He has allegedly performed special favors for Abramoff clients linked to organized crime and requested favors in return such as luxury skyboxes and a trip to Scotland paid for by an Abramoff fake charity. Just this week a definite link has been found between Ney, Abramoff, Diebold Corporation and the problems that occurred in the 2004 election in Ohio.
http://www.madison.com/post/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7792

Days before the payment was made, the NH GOP accepted 3 payments of $5000 each from the following sources: 1) Abramoff client the Mississippi Choctow Tribe 2) Abramoff client the California Aqua Tigua Caliente Tribe 3) Tom Delay's ARMPAC.

Input: Abramoff money --> Output: Election fraud

*Mother-of-all-election-fraud: *In 2002 House Administration Chair Congressman Bob Ney of Ohio was a prime sponsor of the (sic) "Help America Vote Act" (HAVA). In fact, HAVA was actually written in Bob Ney's office. HAVA, under the guise of resolving the 2000 election fraud issues, was actually written to promote the distribution of computerized voting systems across the nation. The bill was designed to send $3.8 billion taxpayer dollars straight into the pockets of corporations like Diebold, whose voting equipment has now been unequivacolly proven to provide an open door to election rigging. Diebold, one of the prime lobbyists for HAVA, was at the time a client of Greenberg Traurig, Abramoff's firm.

I have compiled plenty of information on this issue, which I am ready to provide in order to get this story out. I have access to eye witnesses and players who were physically present and participating in Bob Ney's office when HAVA was written. As sexy as congressional scandal is, it pales in comparison to the real story behind the Abramoff affair: the theft of our democracy.

11. heh .. also see >

Electile Dysfunction: Take Back Your Right to Vote explores the reasons why elections have spiraled into their current disastrous state, and what you can do to reclaim your vote and to promote changes to rid our country of vote fraud. See what parts the media, corporations, judges, and the political parties play in the election game, and actions you can take to encourage these folks to work in the interests of the American people and democracy instead of self-interest, corruption, and greed.

We end the film with a plea for our lawmakers to create a Constitutional Amendment guaranteeing the right to vote for every citizen, that their Vote be COUNTED, and for those that would defraud any voter be held legally accountable. And you can help.

America is truly sick.

War crimes are called "mistakes"

6. If they investigated they might find something, then people
would expect them to do something. They don't want to go there.
