Al-Qaida No. 2 praises Al-Zarqawi, calls on Muslims to support insurgents

Al-Qaida's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri praised insurgents in Iraq, particularly Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and called on all Muslims to support them in a video posted Thursday on the Internet.

In the footage, al-Zawahri appears sitting, wearing a white turban and a grey robe with a microphone pinned to it. An automatic weapon is leaning against a brown backdrop behind him.

He called on Muslims to support his ''beloved brother'' Al-Zarqawi, who heads al-Qaida in Iraq. ''I have lived with him up close, and have seen nothing but good from him,'' al-Zawahri said.

''And to my brother mujahedeen in Iraq, I say, Stay firm. Stay together. Your enemy has begun to falter, so don't stop pursuing him untill he flees defeated,'' he said.

For a while, I thought "#3" was the standard code for "any Al Qaeda operative", as in, "The wedding party we just bombed was composed almost entirely of Al Qaeda's #3 regional leaders."

How come we never see any pictures or footage of this so-called al-Qaeda in Iraq leader?

And I don't mean the dude who seemingly possesses two legs and covers his face with a ski mask during these alleged videos the military bozos claim is al-Zarqawi either.

The guy who allegedly made this tape isn't afraid of showing his face, unless he was another stunt double * recruited.

If al-Zarqawi was real/alive and the still pictures they keep saying is him really were him, then showing his face would make not a damm bit of difference.

It's pretty damm clear why the alleged tape wasn't released. It's all about timing, just like those BS color coded warnings.

It was not clear why the video was not released soon after the date it was allegedly filmed.

I remember a discussion wherein many agreed it was about time to release another boogieman tape or to foil a terrorist attack. I expect the latter is still a possibility.

This tape is so predictable. Of course, they have the boogiemen saying things against Bush that echo many things said on this and many other discussion boards in response to them being said in news articles, above and underground. That way, whenever "we" say like things, we are siding with said boogiemen. How convenient.
