Explosions destroy the Sharif Ridha shrine in Baquoba
Edited on Fri Apr-14-06 11:52 AM by Barrett808
...Three nearly simultaneous explosions destroyed the Sharif Ridha shrine in Baquoba, about 30 miles northeast of Baghdad. The attack did not kill or injure anyone but left the Shiite shrine's dome in ruins. The attack was similar to the bombing of a shrine in Samarra in February.

Bombs kill four at mosques in Iraq's Baquba

BAQUBA, Iraq (Reuters) - At least four worshippers were killed and eight wounded on Friday when two bombs exploded at two Sunni mosques in the Iraqi city of Baquba, police said.

The blasts happened just after midday prayers in the city, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad. No further details were available.

Mosques and shrines are major targets in the sectarian bloodshed between Shi'ites and minority Sunni Arabs wracking Iraq and threatening to drag it into civil war.

Iraqi and U.S. officials say the Shi'ite-Sunni strife is now killing more civilians than the insurgency against U.S.-led and government forces.

More than 60,000 Iraqis have fled their homes since the February 22 bombing of an important Shi'ite shrine.

2. Are you saying the the Black Water mercinaries bombed the mosque?
Edited on Fri Apr-14-06 12:33 PM by CottonBear
I wouldn't doubt it. Why do you think that they did it? I know you had combat experience in Vietnam.

4. Someone did It
I sure as hell can't say they did it.

But stranger things have happened.

It could be a CIA employed group too

After all look at how Negroponte sponsored groups killed those nuns

6. I remember all of Negroponte's evil deeds in Central America.
Maybe the CIA hired Blackwater.

It's a terrible tragedy no matter who did it or planned it. :(

3. Explosions in Baquoba; explosion in Delhi; is this a pattern?
Good Friday, Passover, and I believe the birthday of Mohammed. Is this some sort of related esplosions?

7. Don't forget the Coptic churches attacked in Alexandria.
They couldn't claim the Jews were behind it, so the organized attack was by "insane" people.

If you can't hold the subhuman creators of all evil on earth responsible for the crime, at least say your group is innocent and the bad guys' motives are forever beyond being ascertainment. If you can't make hay, at least duck the clod of bull heading your way.

10. Let me get this straight. When a country like Iraq is in a civil
war, the object is to blow up one another's place of worship? And the sect that blows up the most mosque wins?

Mecca Mosque
