Group: Iran may be expanding nuclear plants

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Commercial satellite photos indicate Iran has begun to expand its nuclear fuel plants and has buried one beneath dozens of feet of earth and concrete, a U.S.-based nuclear watchdog group reports.

Analysts for the Institute for Science and International Security spotted what they said were new tunnel entrances at both the Isfahan uranium conversion plant and the Natanz uranium enrichment plant, according to a report released over the weekend.

That work "is indicative of a new underground facility or the further expansion of the existing one," the group reported.

The institute, led by former United Nations nuclear inspector David Albright, has been monitoring satellite imagery of Iran's nuclear research sites for several years.

Iran is still believed to be a decade away from producing enough enriched uranium to run a nuclear power station, the group reported.

1. More neocon bullshit
Iran is not the country with tens of thousands of warheads and with a long record of military aggression. We are!

Let's disarm the US first before we begin to worry about what someone else may have a decade in the future.

4. David Albright is NO neocon.
In fact, he was the one who exposed the guy Time Magazine called "Saddam's bomb maker". If Albright says something is going on it probably is.

His group ISIS is the most respected non-government atomic energy agency.

2. Fact.
Iran has never initiated the use of force or resorted to the threat of force against a fellow member of the United Nations and have not invaded another country in over 250 years.

Do you think Do you think Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei wants to end up like Saddam, or thrive happily like Kim Jong-il? It’s not a hard choice.

If you're wondering why the Ayatollahs are acting a touch, um... cagey about their military plans, then perhaps this handy pic of the region with countries where the U.S. has military bases (or has been granted overflight rights by a friendly regime) might help clear things up:

They are just once again looking at smudges on the photos and labeling them with whatever lying label they want.

6. Whipping up support for war
War is good for ratings. They make it sound like Iraq has embarked on a massive building campaign in just the past weeks that matches the uptick in US war rhetoric. It is the propaganda machine in full swing.

8. Fear!! Fear!! run for the hills!!!
oy fucking vey.

Iran has 180 centrifuges. The "fuel" they produced is 3.5% pure. Meaning, it could only be used for powering a nuke plant. However, they didn't make enough to do that! They would need lots more nuclear material and thousands, THOUSANDS of more centrifuges to get to weapons grade material. This of course is not even including the amount of power that would be required to run such an operation.

So let me get this straight, moron* and his room full of dopes are going to bomb Iran because Iran has produce enough nuclear material to power a glow in the dark watch.

Well see, there you go! moron* doesn't want the Iranians to be able to tell the time at night. heck, that's a valid enough reason for me. What a colossal fuckwit*.

I pity the future for the yet to be born mutants of the post-nuke world.

colossal fear mongering racist failure*.
