Illinois has had 3 Ryans in politics in recent years.
George the former govenor, who is the one on trial and whose verdict that is being waited on.
Jim, who ran for govenor and lost.
Jack, who was 7 of 9's ex.

I suppose Dan Ryan, my cousin, was filthy as well.
All Ryans should just be locked up now. I mean, it can't be a coincidence, can it?

8. 3rd or 4th Governor to go up the river? |
|
Our fair state has a great track record of sending former Governors up the river.
If Ryan goes he will be our 3rd (or 4th?) Governor out of the last 6 or so found guilty.
In my adult life time they sent Otto Kerner and Dan Walker both to jail.
I think there was another one before Kerner that was found guilty too but I can't recall his name at this point. I'll have to check with my father, he'll remember.
There should probably be a move afoot in Illinois to change the state motto from "Land of Lincoln" to "Will the Defendant pleaser rise and face the jury".

They just should sign dominionship over to the east coast, the traitors.
I'm sure the two black senators they sent are full of shit, too.
Who cares if it's a blue state through and through who bailed your asses out time and again, they have to all go to prison.

18. He was the gov. who put a moratorium on the DP in Illinois... |
|
Some folks think he did it to take people's mind off this criminal investigation and trial he was just found guilty of... or something to that affect,

They're still upset about Illinois having elected a SECOND black senator.
The nerve of those people.
Illinois should sign over governance to New York. They're hopelessly corrupt and undemocratic. The cabal put those blacks in the senate.
Yeah, we have no voting rights - that's the ticket.

24. Ryan's talking to the media with his lawyer and saying that |
|
Edited on Mon Apr-17-06 12:56 PM by cal04
are you suprised? Lawyer: We just got the verdict we don't have time to react very disappointed that the gov didn't prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt will file an appeal, information is under seal about the jurrors. Proceedings in judges office about the kicked off jurrors, one that was on his side that was kicked off. Post trial motions within the next seven days to over turn the verdict, rarely if ever are they over turned. Gov. Ryan, thanking people, will go for an appeal
Someone from the jury just said, we took our time and we did what we had to do we worked together, we worked hard
