Breaking - Exits Sealed at Senate Office Building
Edited on Mon Apr-17-06 06:00 PM by DoYouEverWonder
April 17, 2006, 6:27 PM EDT

WASHINGTON -- Police closed off entries and exits at the Senate's Dirksen Office Building on Monday and announced that people should avoid the building's basement.

Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider said an alarm went off about 4:50 p.m. indicating a suspicious substance near a basement post office facility.

The detector signaled the possible presence of a nerve agent, but initial field tests were negative, a law enforcement official said on condition of anonymity because authorities were still investigating.

Fire trucks and ambulances gathered along Constitution Avenue and First Street between the Capitol grounds and the office building. Decontamination tents were erected at the site and three fully outfitted hazardous materials specialists were seen going through them.

*'s opinion is probably along the lines of "WTH does the janitor have a lawn? Obiviously we are paying too much, so it's time to give more of the rich people money back by cutting salaries for services workers and taxes.

24. It's time for the terror alerts and "suspicious substances" to increase
It is an election year and the GOP is in deep trouble. So it's back to the old fear factor.

25. What's odd is that I don't see signs of their noise machine this time
Last time they had sites like Talon News and Bush Country to create and promote their terror scares. Since Gannon got outed they've been pretty quiet.

26. Tests Negative at Senate Office Building

April 18, 2006

WASHINGTON — Police closed off entries and exits at the Senate's Dirksen Office Building for several hours Monday after something set off an alarm for the presence of nerve agents.

Sgt. Kimberly Schneider, a Capitol Police spokeswoman, said an alarm went off about 4:50 p.m. indicating a suspicious substance near a basement post office facility. An all-clear was declared about 8:15 p.m., after tests proved negative.

<snip>

Schneider said, "The fact that we haven't had any positive hits on any nerve agents is good." It was not known what set off the sensors, she said, and that will be subject to further investigation.

29. BOO!
Yawn.

Another Orwellian Circus.

At this point I am numb to this shit.

Save to say this. Is this REALLY the way Americans want to live out the rest of their lives?

B-MOVIE Scripts are more based in reality than the "reality" these thugs have us living in.

This smells about as legit as the other so-called "scares".

We live in such complete, utter Bullshit that I am sure by the time they are done, we will all bear the stink of living in such saturation for so long.

We won't even be able to try to pretend we are from Canada when visiting other countries to avoid hostility.

Our scent will give us away.

The sad thing is, many are just conditioned to accept this.

Average, Everyday life in America.

I want my country back.
