Court Declines to Take Kissinger Lawsuit
WASHINGTON -- The Supreme Court refused Monday to revive a lawsuit accusing former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger of responsibility in the 1970 death of the head of the Chilean army.

Family members of Gen. Rene Schneider filed the lawsuit in 2001, claiming that U.S. officials encouraged a plot to kidnap Schneider, in which he was killed.

The suit claimed that the U.S. government and Kissinger, then President Nixon's national security adviser, were guilty of violating U.S., Chilean and international law.

A lower court dismissed the case.

2. Well, it's all true......
but no-one is going to hold him accountable for it at any point.

I personally think he should be at the Hague, but no one asked this Canuck for her opinion, eh?

4. We're not hated for our freedoms. We're hated for evading justice.

6. Once again, Republicans are above the law
They can do anything they want and it's OK, since they packed the courts with their Federalist Society rubber stamps!
