Jim Pederson narrows John Kyl's lead in battle for U.S. Senate seat in AZ.

An Arizona State University/KAET-TV poll shows Sen. Jon Kyl (R) leading former Arizona Democratic Chair Jim Pederson, 42% to 31%, among registered voters. Three months ago, Kyl held a 22 point lead.

We saw the tv commercial the other day. My not-very-political, moderate hubby was impressed with Jim-- so there's one registered republican who will vote Jim Pederson over Kyl.

5. Kyl's only claim to fame has been his total support for Bush's agenda
The only time he has spent down here on the border was once when the illegal immigration started heating up Nation wide and last month during Cheney's support trip to Tucson to bag money for him.

One has only to look at his voting record to see that he only talks to his constiutuents when he has to be re-hired by WE THE PEOPLE.

Taking Kyl down is a long shot, but if he can be married to Smirk and the war, anything's possible. There are a lot of disgusted Repukes out there who might sit on their hands this November.
