BAGHDAD, April 27 (Reuters) - Gunmen killed the sister of Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi in Baghdad on Thursday, Interior Ministry sources and two officials in his political party said.

The political leaders all have lots of body guards, however their relatives living in different parts of Iraq often don't.

4. How tragic
Maybe if they hadn't empowered people based on religious and political affiliations and maybe tried getting the right people for the job of governing instead, these hateful divisions on the ground wouldn't have gained traction. Sadly, the current state of Iraq has Bush**'s "uniter" fingerprints all over it.

5. This was the work of the insurgents
The Shia militias certainly do target Sunnis. But, they certainly wouldn't target the family of Iraq's VP.
