Gloom among workers over retirement
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=874be0f76df1c5f9

New Jersey's Gallup Organization says many working U.S. residents expect a downturn in their lifestyle once they stop working.

The April 10-13 poll identifies retirement as the most significant financial concern for U.S. residents. Sixty percent of respondents say they are very or moderately worried about not having enough money for retirement

5. Yeah, I work for an organization
that has been generous enough to contribute 1 or 2 % of our salaries, if we have been lucky, and they resent that and hold on to the contribution until the last possible moment. Makes me feel really secure.

7. Yeah, I expect a "downturn"...
Once I stop working, it'll mean one of 2 things:

I'm DEAD.

Or....

I may as WELL be dead, since I'm too incapacitated to work.
