6. This is one time that I hope I'm wrong ...
I want to believe that I'm low and jaded ... for once, I would love for us to make JUST ONE openly and morally sound judgment. I'm sickened by the immorality of this Executive Branch. It's been a sad six years for the health and welfare of what's supposed to be a shining example of a Jeffersonian Democratic Republic.

says M said a lot of things that weren't true, implying a lot. Jury did not hear this though. If they order death, I'm gonna be really pissed.

Yes, and us Christians are going to frolic with Jesus. So what?

What's disgusting is our lack of awareness that by executing this CRAZY, and most likely innocent (of conspiracy) man, we will be fueling the recruitment of terrorists for generations to come.

We are so dense and insensitive when it comes to any SEMBLANCE of understanding the sensitivities of the rest of the World's Diverse Cultures and Communities. WE (The USA) ARE BEHAVING LIKE MURDEROUS THUGS ... Doubt me? Watch Bolton's sheer contempt as he testified to Congress yesterday. :puke: :grr:

23. The "Christians" get virgins in heaven too, according to "Matthew."
"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom." (Matt. 25:1)

76 virgins vice 40 ... BUT :wtf: is the point other than to disrespect certain Martyr offerings within ANOTHER VALID RELIGION? :eyes: Us Catholics have our share of Martyrs we later make Saints and choose to pray through to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Many Protestants consider us non-Christian for such practices.

My point: It's right to get your facts straight whether you're referring to Radical Islamic or Catholic Christian Martyrs. :hi: <tongue-in-cheek>

anything much at all to do with 9/11.
I have to ask why then did she allow all of that blatantly inflamatory evidance to be shown at the sentencing?

I really have to wonder what was done to him while in "detention" and is he even sane or rational at this point?
He doesnt seem to be.

There is no justice. Just machinations of the powerful and misery of the masses.

and as a response to 'let him rot in jail". if they kill him what justice will there be when we find out he had been tortured or brainwashed or the government was holding out on facts that would have cleared him? If he goes to jail and some saner people possibly one day find out that it was a travesty he can be released.

20. I think it's a foregone conclusion
I'm glad at times like this that I don't believe in the death penalty, because then I'm spared the moral dilemma of those who are.

I still don't understand why they executed Timothy McVeigh, because I think he had a LOT of information to give. And it all died with him.

I also read that it's more expensive to execute a criminal than to keep him in prison for life, so it doesn't even make economic sense.

22. hope moussouai gets a play, life in prison. if knowing about 911
is the criteria for arrest then that Imbecile King George should share a cell with moussouai, what did that aug.6 2001 pdb say" weeks, many many dead, very very big uproar, possibly using hijacked commercial jets as suicide weapons to be crashed into skyscrapers in New York City, Chicago, and Washington DC." that's what I read the day the PDB was released publicly. That last paragraph was quickly deleted though.
Another thing, what did the PDB's following aug 6 say? H'm
Remember when Tenet claimed,"I didn't meet with King George during aug 2001" he was in crawford and I was in Maryland. Yet later that day he (tenet) and Kean went on air to amend that claim, kean said"Mr.Tenet did meet with King George on aug 18, aug 25, and aug 31" what did they discuss? the recent capture of moussouai? H'm. or maybe warnings from Britain,Israel and Russia of spectacular attacks?
Keep "BIG M" alive and later trade him when a high ranking American gets kidnapped.

Moussai Only Gets Life!! No Death Penalty for This Deranged Jihadist!

Posted on 05/03/2006 1:37:31 PM PDT by MikeA

Just reported on KFI radio in LA. This really blows. Did the jury sleep through this guy's insane rantings? I know that alone doesn't justify death, but it is clear he could have cooperated with the FBI and the 9-11 attacks would have been averted. What was the composition of this jury? This really blows. Al Qaeda has got to be laughing at this country. We're just not serious about destroying them and taking a strong hand in combatting them.

34. No, I think the Jury "figured out" that those were, in fact,
insane rantings and not viable admission of conspiracy. Remember, Reid would not even consider supporting his raves that they were "a pair"?

Good. There is hope for Justice in America.

37. Bush's Justice Department takes one to the teeth
They lost on every score here, trying to make an example of a mentally ill man with no discernible connection to 9/11. The prosecutors should be ashamed of themselves every minute of every day for the rest of their lives.

Kudos to my fellow Americans (Virginians) who served so diligently on that jury and who refused to play into the immoral and hateful end run around justice that these Bushniks tried to accomplish on the back of a sick and sorry man who didn't understand any of what was going on.

A few of my old colleagues have served as defense counsel, and you cannot imagine how hard they worked. How tired they are now. How well they did. I am so proud to be a part of their profession.

Justice would be served if these mofo prosecutors were put on trial for trying to take a dump on the Constitution, but, as it stands, there is no martyrdom for this hapless defendant, this farce of a trial is at an end, the jurors did an exemplary and thoughtful job (sending a real message to the White House to shove it), and the families of the victims have learned that there is never anything called "closure."

Especially if you think closure comes by killing another innocent man.

This Old Defense Lawyer is pleased.
