2. Make room for two more....

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.

5. 2,411.

.....The attack brings the number of U.S. military deaths in the Iraq war to 2,411.

Three insurgents were killed in fighting on Thursday with U.S. soldiers near the Iraqi city of Samarra, the U.S. military also said Friday.

The incident began when troops from the Task Force Band of Brothers apprehended three "known" bomb placers, the military said in a statement.

As they headed away with the detainees, people wielding small arms fired at them from a rooftop, officials said.

Elsewhere in Baghdad on Thursday, two U.S. soldiers attached to Multinational Division-Baghdad were killed when their vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb, the U.S. military said.

Iraqi army officer Brig. Gen. Mohammed Abdul Latifwas was gunned down in western Baghdad's Yarmouk neighborhood as he drove to work, the Interior Ministry said.

19. As long as this continues, the Repubs WILL LOSE
in November. Poll after poll shows that Americans have run out of patience with Iraq. They want some good news. The Photo Op of Rummy and Condi running over there and patting Mr. Al Maliki on the back is not enough.

They want some results, and they want it now.

As long as the Iraqis continue to have access to bomb materials, this will continue. (Remember the weapons dump at Al Qaqaa? - that's where all this is coming from).

They cannot rig the votes for this. The gap is too large.

The key is Iraq.
