Rove invokes 9/11, lauds Bush tax cuts in talk here
Speaks at county Republican banquet

LANCASTER COUNTY, PA - Karl Rove -- the trusted, savvy and some would say Machiavellian adviser to President Bush -- didn't mince words Thursday about politics in America.

"To shape events, it's not enough to believe the right thing," he told an audience at the Lancaster County Republican Party's spring banquet. "It's important to win."

...

"Our opponents are our fellow citizens, not our enemies," Rove said of the Democrats. "But civility is not a synonym for passivity."

...

Despite Democratic criticism of the Iraq war, Rove said, America cannot "cut and run." To do so, he argued, would leave Iraq in the hands of people who would attack us like the terrorists who struck on Sept. 11, 2001.

1. No disrespect to the families of 9/11 victims but
Rove is wearing out the 9/11 references. It isn't working anymore.

3. Dems opposed the Patriot Act renewal?recession-ridden economy ???
Hello???

By saying that Democrats are fellow citizens not enemies and that they will be respectful that tells me that they are going to do just the opposite.

...and stick a big cork in his blowhole.

10. i just answered my own question: Santorum was invited but was busy
in DC. shucks.

Rove was the keynote speaker at the banquet, held at Lancaster Host Resort to celebrate the county party's 150th anniversary.

Absent from the banquet was U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum, who was invited but could not attend due to legislative matters.

Rove's appearance in Lancaster came at a compelling time in the career of the veteran political strategist, who has worked on four presidential campaigns, including the last two for Bush.

Hovering over Rove is a federal investigation into how the identity of classified CIA agent Valerie Plame, wife of Iraq war critic Joseph Wilson, was leaked to the national press.

15. euphemisms...
"To shape events, it's not enough to believe the right thing," he told an audience at the Lancaster County Republican Party's spring banquet. "It's important to win."

equals "we'll do anything to win."

"Our opponents are our fellow citizens, not our enemies," Rove said of the Democrats. "But civility is not a synonym for passivity."

equals "Democrats are normal people. Kill them. That makes more room for freaks like us."

Despite Democratic criticism of the Iraq war, Rove said, America cannot "cut and run." To do so, he argued, would leave Iraq in the hands of people who would attack us like the terrorists who struck on Sept. 11, 2001.

equals "The reason we invaded Iraq was that we figured 19 dead terrorists was kind of a waste. We really needed a whole heck of a lot more, and a whole heck of a lot more tax money dumped into the right hands as well."

I mean lets face it if Mousouii was responsible for 3,000 deaths even though he wasn't the one who actually did it don't ya think Rove is responsible for about 100,000 thousand deaths? And remember Mousouii thought he was fighting a war against evil...Rove just wanted to get Idiot in chief relelcted!

20. Cannot CUT and RUN
So what is the solution
Send son and daughters to be blown up x(
Maybe kill a few millions Iraqies so they wont hate the US
Leave Iraq in the hands of people who attack us like TERRORISTS who struck on Sept11
So Rove you admit now you create more terrorists

The more you kill the greater the hate.
So when you going to stop investing in hate.

What a fuck up mess with a fuck up President who do not have a single idea what he is doing except how to rob the country blind.

Not only did he rob the country he even rob the future creating such a huge debt to be repayed by future generation. Whee damn good crook.
