Protesters have begun to voice their anger over the controversial visit of George W Bush.

The silence of the 41-gun salute and US national anthem at Buckingham Palace was broken by protester Joe Gittens who shouted anti-war songs which branded Tony Blair as a "poodle".

A small group of anti-war protesters joined him in song to the horror of Bush supporters who urged them to shut up. Then as The Star Spangled Banner was struck up he began singing "Yankee Poodle Tony" to the tune of Yankee Doodle Dandy.
