13. Half of that...
28% must belong to Orange County...those nutjobs down there apparently love him and the other half must be from San Diego (by the bases)...well Californians always know that Repugs just screw up everything they touch...Gov. Groper is surely on his way out...Gov. Dr. Phil is "real in"...

& about behind the orange curtain over the weekend. Rethuglicans are being very, very quiet down here. There once was this arrogant bravado that really pissed me off. They have gotten very quiet of late.

4. Surprising it's not 99.99999%
Seriously, I know lifelong Reagan Republicans who were against W since the creation of the DHS.

They voted Kerry in '04 (many of them wanted Dean)

5. In this undisclosed part of Very Red California ...
... very obviously brand-new "W'04" stickers are appearing on vehicles at an alarming rate. Expeditions, Escalantes, Hummers, you name it.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if any of the area's various Six Flags Over Jesus are behind it.

7. I'm surprised to hear you say that!
Because, just yesterday, I saw the same thing on I-5 in Stockton, CA. A brand-spanking new Bush-Cheney '04 bumper sticker on a new black Escalade. Nothing shocks me anymore...

19. Its because the drivers are losers. They lose at everything in life.
The only thing they have to stand on is a president(loser) that gets in office and so it's their only affirmation that they've ever been right about anything.

I'm not kidding.

Why else would they go to the point of trying to re-affirm that they voted for dumbya and he won.

It may be the first and last positive affirmation those poor dumbshits ever have. Pity them.

8. Explains why Bush refuses to visit San Francisco

BUSH KEEPS S.F. AT BAY

President hasn't participated in 75-year tradition of visiting city -- and he has no plans to do so

Marc Sandalow, Washington Bureau Chief
Sunday, August 21, 2005

Washington -- Presidential visits to San Francisco have been a tradition since Rutherford Hayes lunched at the Cliff House in 1880.

Presidents arrived by stagecoach and jet. One was shot at. Another died. In all, 20 presidents have visited the city, including every chief executive for the past 75 years.

Except George W. Bush.

Now in the fifth year of his presidency, Bush has yet to set a foot in the city that was home to his childhood baseball idol, Willie Mays, and shows no inclination to do so.

<snip>

The reason seems plain to even casual observers of American politics.

San Francisco is as politically, culturally and geographically distant from the president as anyplace in America. Eighty-four percent of the city's voters cast ballots against Bush in 2000, and 85 percent voted against him in 2004. The city has voted Democratic in 12 consecutive presidential elections.

loves raisin brain - they have the same baseball idol. Even though it wasn't even close to his job, my brother learned that Frigidaire was installing appliances @ Mays' house. He managed 2 find out who was installing and talked his way on2 the 'team'. He ended up getting his autograph.
