U.S. Marine Killed in Western Iraq

May 22, 2006, 12:57 PM EDT

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- A U.S. Marine was killed in action in Iraq's volatile western
Anbar province, the U.S. Command said Monday.

The Marine, assigned to Regimental Combat Team 5, died Sunday but gave no
further details. The Marine's name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
