In Response To Wiesenthal Center’s Query: U.N. Investigation Finds No Evidence Of Religious Minority Dress Code In Iran

Last week, the Simon Wiesenthal Center asked the Secretary General of the United Nations to investigate a National Post op-ed piece written by Amir Tahiri stating that religious minorities would be required to wear color patches delineating their religions.

A letter received today by Wiesenthal Center Dean, Rabbi Marvin Hier, written by Alicia Barnena, Acting Chef de Cabinet, on behalf of the Secretary General, said: “The Secretary-General, who is currently traveling in Asia, was disturbed by this report and asked me to look into this matter immediately. I have now done so, and an analysis of the law by the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Tehran finds that there are no suggestions or clauses within the law that refer to religious minorities and their dress, or that would support the serious concerns raised in the National Post story.”

TWO FUCKING QUESTIONS:

1: Why the hell is the National Post using confirmation from two Rabbis at this Center to run a story about IRAN PASSING A LAW TO REQUIRE JEWS TO WEAR YELLOW INSIGNIA A' LA HITLERS' NAZIS when this center is asking the UN to investigate the article they were asked to confirm?

2: Why the hell is the Simon Wiesenthal Center bringing this up with the UN only after being contacted by the Post story if they were previously aware of it?


I only learned about the SimonWiesenthal Center since this PLANTED false story broke, but they are an international Jewish organization that is self-described as commited to "preserving the memory of the Holocaust". They get involved in Hate investigations and Nazi hunting and intollerance education. That's all great, but WHY THE FUCK are they being used to confirm reports about a brand new law being reported from Iran?????

horrible articles during Clinton's time. He is an ex-iranian who "loved life" under the shah and keeps writing for the right in hopes that his days of glory will be restored in Iran. He is quoted quite often by the evil Horowitz at FrontPage. Nothing the man writes should be taken seriously. He is less credible than Chalabi.
