Coalition Strike in Afghanistan Kills 5

By JASON STRAZIUSO

Associated Press Writer

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) - A U.S.-led coalition strike on a militant training facility
in Afghanistan's borderlands with Pakistan killed five suspected extremists, including
senior Taliban leaders, the U.S. military said Saturday.

The military said that "key senior leaders of the Taliban network" were among the five
dead in the late Friday strike on the site at the remote Qal'a Sak village, in Helmand
Province.

No identities or precise numbers of the Taliban leaders killed were released. The military
said the Taliban commanders have carried out attacks against coalition and Afghan army
forces as well as Afghan officials and civilians.

3. Laura traveled there and said womens rights are strong
But she was never beyond 10 feet from a military defense team.

Afghanistan is a mess. The world knows it. You hear any offers for vacationing in Afghanistan? But W's corporate buds have profited beyond belief.

You think there is a pattern here?

4. They should stop this "coalition" reference.
The whole planet knows it's the USA against Afghanistan and Iraq. What, was there one gunner's mate from Brazil in one of the planes? That makes it a "coalition" huh?
Call me sarcastic and skeptical this morning.
