S. Korean Navy Fires at N. Korean Boat
SEOUL, South Korea -- South Korea's navy fired warning shots Monday after a North Korean navy patrol boat entered waters controlled by the South, the military said. The northern boat retreated without resistance.

The North Korean ship sailed about one-half a nautical mile into South Korean waters off the west coast. The South Korean navy speedboat fired five warning shots and the boat turned around, a spokesman at the South's Office of Joint Chiefs of Staff said.

The South Korean navy boat approached within 2 1/2 miles of the North Korean ship and broadcast warnings over loudspeaker for two minutes before firing the warning shots, he said.

It was the fifth time that a North Korean navy boat intruded into Southern waters along the disputed western sea border. In three of the occasions, the Northern boats retreated after receiving warning shots.

2. What's going on?
WELL....

Our real enemies out there in the world are starting to get bold, that's what's happening. They know we're overstretched...heck, everyone knows we're overstretched. Soon we'll reach the point where the only thing we can do is launch missles at other countries.

And that's when they'll get even bolder.

4. Well if we can see this so can every other country, Right?
We have all gone down the rabbit hole with this Bush. I still blame the people for letting this happen. They are selling off the country to the highest bidder, and we the people let a man like this take us over.Good by the good life. When do we wake up and start digging our selfs out of this mess?

5. Korean Navy
I spend a lot of time in South Korea working as a contractor for the US Goverment supporting the Korean Navy. I've been doing this since 1995. These border incidents happen all the time. A few of years ago a S. Korean ship was sunk and 18 sailors died. The root of the problem is a disputed fishing area.
