Israel’s Fears Kidnapped Soldiers Could Be Moved to Iran Cast Aside

13 July 2006 | 20:02 | FOCUS News Agency

Tehran. Iranian Foreign Ministry cast aside Israel’s fears that the two Israeli soldiers who were abducted by radical Shiite group Hezbollah could be moved to Iran, Reuters reports.
“I strongly object to such statements,” the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Hamid Reza Asefi said. “Israel is making absurd statements because of its desperation and increasing isolation from the world and because of the tension and crisis within Israel itself.”
