India PM implies Pakistan supported attack

Big News Network.com
Friday 14th July, 2006 (UPI)

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said terror attacks against the country were supported by elements across the border, referring to Pakistan.

Singh, speaking to the press Friday after visiting people injured by Tuesday's train bombings, said, These terror modules are instigated, inspired and supported by elements across the border without which they cannot act with such devastating effects, Press Trust of India reported.

The prime minister did not reference Pakistan by name, but he repeatedly said the terrorists had support across the border. He said there would be difficulties with the peace process if the country did not act against terrorists operating within its borders.

Singh also said that prior to the attacks, which claimed 200 lives, the government had received credible information that terrorists had entered Bombay, also called Mumbai, and were planning something big. However, he said, Those who perpetrate terror have the advantage of surprise.

I am not surprised they are using this latest attack as international cross border attack and blaming Pakistan, while they very well aware that this is all to do with the Kashmir issue.

Is their any relationship between Afghanistan mujahideen and the hezbollah? Distant or kissing cousins?

12. I doubt it
Hezbollah is a Shiite group, the Afghan guys were predominately Sunni. Even Iran didn't get along with them for that reason.

5. It was stated on the day the blasts happened that
the authorities knew there was going to be an attack.

But, as is usually the case, there's not a great deal you can do except increase vigilance and look like hell for anybody suspcious. In a city of 14 million ... lots of suspicious looking people, no doubt.

I have no problem with assertions that 'elements' in the ISI assisted. Between Haq and having to accommodate the MMA, not even counting on zealous converts and dedicated MMA-party supporters ...

10. Today's truth.
I have always believed that our biggest enemies are:

1) Pakistan

2) Saudi Arabia.

14. Yeah, but for their intelligence, that'd be stupid on India's part:
Pakistan is their neighbor.

Radiation has no boundries.

Did India make their own nukes? Or did they buy a bunch? And will the sellers be held accountable, much like how no gun shop owner would? :D

8. All Copy Catting Bush values and justification for pre-emptive strikes!
Today, I heard something of a response from Israel answering Condi's advise of
using "restraint"! The spokesman said, "they were only doing what Mr. Bush does
when someone threatens his country."

monkey see, monkey do-

Monkey Love!

11. Didn't happen to mention any evidence?
Look, I don't think we should even regard the poisonous lies of politicians as "news" anymore. Their remarks are not even worthy of a moment of our attention unless they can back them with compelling evidence immediately.

Indeed, we would do better to let the evidence speak for itself and leave all parasiticle political scumbags out of the loop entirely.
