No Israeli attack on Syria -Syrian official

DAMASCUS, July 15 (Reuters) - Syria was not the target of any attack by Israel on Saturday, a Syrian information official said.

"No Syrian installation, military or civilian, has been targeted in any part of the country," the official told Reuters.

The Israeli military said earlier it had only carried out bombing raids on Lebanese territory and not inside Syria after reports of attacks very close to the Syrian border.

A Reuters camera crew on the Syrian side of the border with Lebanon said there was no evidence of any bombardment.
