Bush to address African-American rights group (NAACP)

US President George W. Bush will address the NAACP -- the largest and oldest US civil rights organization -- at its national convention in Washington this week, the White House announced.

His decision to address the group comes after years of snubs by the president, after the group's leadership harshly condemned his administration's policies.
