Activist Stands Trial for Painting Anti-War Messages
TOLEDO -- A former Toledo mayoral candidate and anti-war activist is now facing a jury on charges he spray-painted anti-war messages on expressway bridges. Mike Ferner is charged with vandalism and possession of criminal tools. Ferner admits he spray painted "Troops Out Now!" and "Bye Bush," but says he's asked for a jury trial to put the entire war in Iraq on trial.

2. Good message
Wrong way to go about it. Vandalism costs taxpayers money. Someone has to clean it up. I wish the guy luck though.

4. That wouldn't wouldn't be vandalism, that would be patriotic adornment!
You must understand the difference. Unapproved message=act of malicious vandalism, officially sanctioned message=patriotic expression of pride in America.
