Rep. Kucinich’s Resolution Calls on Bush to Push for Cease-Fire
Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) will introduce a resolution in Congress on Wednesday that calls on President Bush to appeal to all sides for a cessation of hostilities in the Israeli-Lebanon conflict and to commit the United States to multi-party negotiations.

1. I'm sorry, but I feel he's pissing in the wind at this point.
This dance will play out whether Kucinich wants it to or not. His intentions are noble, however. This is why I find him to be the best candidate on the issues when he was running for president.

2. I know what you mean...
However, Dennis is doing the right thing for speaking out!

7. Agreed
There isn't really too much any of us can do besides speak out, but we can do that.

4. Better to "piss in the wind" than to remain silent at war crimes!
Way to go Dennis! Your resolution won't even get a hearing, but you are head and shoulders over those members of Congress that are falling all over themselves in trying to pass a resolution that tells the world that America is standing alongside Israel as she reduces Beirut to rubble and makes refugees of millions of Lebanese.

6. He's doing what he can, doing his job. May not be enough, but it's
better than not trying.

Kucinich is not presidential material, and I think I mean that as a compliment.

3. Bush should not get involved
Because Bush fucks up everything he touches.

5. Why bomb Lebanese civilians and their country to rubble?
Hezbolla's their problem; but Israel has a penchant for civilian overkill, i.e. terrorism.
