Barclays says US court dismisses Enron claims

LONDON (Reuters) - A U.S. court has dismissed claims against Britain's Barclays <BARC.L>
in a multi-billion dollar lawsuit filed by Enron shareholders against banks that worked
with the fallen energy giant, the lender said on Friday.

Britain's third largest bank, which worked with Enron largely in an investment banking
capacity, said it had received the order from a U.S. district court on Thursday dismissing
the claims in a civil suit against the group and its investment banking arm, Barclays
Capital.

Enron shareholders had filed a class action suit against Enron itself, its banks and several
former top executives, claiming they had lost $40 billion when Enron collapsed. They said
Barclays and other banks had helped Enron hide its debts.

Several banks including JP Morgan Chase <JPM.N>, Lehman Brothers <LEH.N> and Citigroup
<C.N> have already reached billion dollar settlements over the suit, which is scheduled
to start later this year.

2. The Imperial Subjects of Amerika do not have the same right as Free People
Sure, we very expensively maintain the illusion. The only tip of the hat left to a nation that was among the world' finest for 224 1/2 years (1776-2000 RIP).

But in real terms? It is an extraordinarily rare occurance that justice shall be done to Busheviks and other Party Cronies.

In the case of Ken Lay, even when justice is served, either murder or "witness protection" (yes, in Imperial Amerika I suspect that higher and higher numbers of criminals are being protected by the programs designed back in the days of freedom, to protect heir victims.

In either case, for a Bushevik to face justice is as rare as a Communist in 1978 Soviet Union to do the same.

It is to laugh, we scurrying Subjects, most of whom believe we were free and with no real understand of what it it is, means, or entials.

HINT: It doesn't mean 85 different cellphones to choose from.
