Bush admits Iraqi, Afghan doubts ("hard work")
Edited on Fri Jul-21-06 02:52 PM by Barrett808
BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, United States (AFP) - US President George W. Bush acknowledged that some Iraqis and Afghans are "wondering whether the future is bright for them" but vowed victory in both war-torn countries.

Bush's remarks came as he met with US military personnel newly returned from Iraq and Afghanistan and assured them: "I want our troops to understand that not only does the country support them, but we'll win."

"You're doing some hard work. It's hard work to defeat terrorists," the president said, less than a week before welcoming Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to the White House.

Bush praised the US military as "people who bring such dignity and honor and bring compassion to people who have been suffering under tyranny and are now wondering whether or not the future is bright for them."

1. Okay, new rule
Bush can't use the word "understand" anymore. Every time he says it, they should gakk him like they used to do on that kids' game show when someone said "I don't know."

11. Actually, retarded persons have more intelligence than this idiot.
I would never call him retarded. Too many people suffering from that mental illness have more compassion that this fuckwit could ever muster.

At the very least give him a dictionary with the definitions underlined.

They want to create chaos & anarchy in the ME,
so that their corporate buddies can cash in on the death & mayhem.

I dont think however they anticipated Iraq & Afghanistan would collapse as fast & hard as it did,
it's seems to me its completely out of their control now...

But thats ok, just create a bigger diversion elsewhere (Lebanon/Iran/Syria) and nobody will pay attention anymore...

16. They don't want us to "win" because they do not want "war" to end.
We must be perpetually at war for them to maintain control of the populace through fear. Extremist regimes and terrorists are symbiotic entities with authoritarian regimes, as they act as each other's bogeyman for their respective populaces. They don't love war for war's sake; they love war for the power, control and riches it provides them and their allies.

And while they maintain power through fear and perpetual war, they rob the national treasury and setup offshore accounts and private security forces to defend their plunder when the jig is finally up.

15. "but we'll win".....
Edited on Fri Jul-21-06 04:16 PM by LibDemAlways
Wait a minute. Didn't chimpy declare victory 3 years ago? I remember a big "Mission Accomplished" banner and the chimp in a flight suit showing off his package. You mean he was lying, or, as the media whores would say, misrepresenting the truth? I'm shocked. I thought Cheney assured us it was easy to defeat terrorists, a "cakewalk" and all that. If a company misrepresents a product, the consumer is usually afforded a refund. Where can the American taxpayer go to get a refund of the billions wasted on this exercise in futility? Shouldn't Americans be feeling a little defrauded about now?

17. "win" .... that's the trick.
Nobody's been able to force the Chimp to define exactly what he means by "win."

18. "Winning" means installing a conservative Islamic republic...
...which is aligned with Iran. And which uses brutal methods of mass torture and murder to reign by terror.

Neat.
