Suicide attack on foreign forces, one killed (Afghanistan)
A SUICIDE car bomb ripped through a US-led coalition military vehicle in southern Afghanistan Saturday, the coalition said, with several casualties feared.

An Afghan military official said on condition of anonymity that at least one coalition soldier was killed and four wounded, but the coalition would not immediately confirm this.

1. This can't be right.
All the reich-wing emails says we've have a successful overthrow of the Taiban in Afghanistan. Everything is hunky-dory, girls are allowed to attend school and breath without permission for the first time, and they love us and are planting fall vegetables and eating ham.
:sarcasm:

3. Two coalition soldiers killed in Afghan attack
Two coalition soldiers were killed and eight wounded when a suicide car bomber rammed their convoy in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar on Saturday, a coalition spokesman said.

"I can confirm that two coalition soldiers were killed and eight wounded in the suicide attack," coalition spokesman Major Scott Lundy told Reuters. Police said at least one civilian was killed in the attack.

A second suicide bomber blew himself up a short time later at the same location, killing five Afghans, police said.
