"NEW DELHI: The next few days are likely to be very tense for the US embassy here. For a top IB official has sent a letter to security agencies with a chilling message the American embassy is expected to be targetted any time between now and July 30 by terrorists owing allegiance to an Iranian terror group.

This intelligence input has already sent security agencies scampering to plug real or imagined weaknesses in the security ring around the mission. Sources revealed on Monday that the input was received early last week and has been circulated among all security agencies in Delhi, including the police and paramilitary forces."

Why do you think all the Faux News folks and hate-radio folks are pushing to call this World War III?

My theory is that they've seen the poll numbers showing Democrats waxing their asses this fall. They've seen their own internal polls that probably look even worse. Their only hope to retain power and save Bush, Cheney and Rummy from being tried for war crimes is to scare the "bejeebus" out of enough Americans that will cast votes out of fear.

They will do anything to prevent losing power, because they know that with Democratic Party controlled committees with subpoena power, THEIR REIGN OF TERROR IS OVER. They WILL NOT go quietly. All the stops will be pulled out for them to win, because they can't face the alternative.

It's going to be an "interesting" summer.

But if we're going to get our country back and set things right again, we're going to have to meet them on their turf and go forward with the job that has to be done.
