Hezbollah envoy: War on Israel to Widen

Hezbollah's representative in Iran struck a defiant tone Monday, warning that his Islamic militant group plans to widen its attacks on Israel until "no place" is safe for Israelis.

Hossein Safiadeen also reinforced earlier threats by Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah to widen the scope of attacks, which have included unprecedented missile strikes deep into northern Israel.

"You will see a new Middle East in the way of Hezbollah and Islam, not in the way of Rice and Israel."

9. Hezbollah is using Lebanese civilians to hide behind

I feel badly for the innocent civilians in Lebanon, but if Hezbollah really cared about them, too, they would have returned the kidnapped soldiers.

If Hezbolllah expands the war, it will cost more Lebanese civilians their lives. Israel has bomb shelters for it's citizens, or the death toll on their side would be as high as Lebanon's at this point.

Lebanon's best bet for the future is to forge an alliance with Israel and get Hezbollah out of their country. They can't do it alone, and it makes sense for their democracy to ally with the other one in the region.
