US House of Representatives passes nuke deal
US House of Representatives passes nuke deal

After many hours of debate, the US House of Representatives has passed the Indo-US nuke deal by a 359-68 majority.

The deal though will take effect only when the Senate also passes a similar legislation later this year.

The bill will change existing American laws in order to give India greater access to sensitive US technology.

The draft bill was earlier approved with an overwhelming 37-5 in the House International Relations Committee on June 26.

2. Exactly...and to think
we started off with small timers like running guns and gorillas with Noriega,
heroin and the glutting oil with Hussein and are now on our way to oblivion.
Thanks to the presidential metamorphosis of elected political predators.

3. Dennis and Barbara said it would proliferate weapons at a press conf
The conference was on Tuesday. The info about the press conference was passed out at the PHDC meeting I attended on Tuesday. The club voted to back Dennis's and Barbara's on this issue becaues there is a real cause for concern with this bill. It is a shame that Pelosi votes to fund war and to proliferate weapons. She votes to sell weapons, wage war on Iran and increase the proliferation of nuclear weapons. Time for a new Democratic House leader.

10. The Repukes let Pakistan have their Plutonium Reactor (and covered it up)
So now they have to let India have nukes, also, otherwise Pakistan will blow India off the map soon.
