Casey Nethercott, a member of the north Texas-based group Ranch Rescue, was arrested on Tuesday on a felony charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. snip
The federal charge stems from an arrest warrant issued after Nethercott failed to appear for an Oct. 22 hearing in a Hebronville, Texas, criminal court, said Herbie Silva, the district attorney of Jim Hogg County.
Nethercott and another Ranch Rescue member have been charged with holding two Salvadoran illegal immigrants at gunpoint and beating them in a rural area in March.
