Russian prosecutors launched a new raid against the oil giant Yukos, searching the premises of its main subsidiary based in Moscow called Yukos-Moskva, prosecution officials said Thursday.
The raid struck Wednesday, with investigators confiscating documents from its office, but making no arrests, a spokesman for the Moscow prosecutor's office told AFP by telephone.
It was the latest in a series of raids against companies run by former Yukos chief Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Russia's richest man, who has been detained in a Moscow jail since October 25.
