BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Fighting erupted early Monday in a Shiite militia stronghold
of Baghdad, and a suicide bomber blew himself up among mourners at a funeral
in Saddam Hussein's hometown, killing 10 people and injuring 22.

Three U.S. soldiers were killed late Sunday in a roadside bombing southwest
of Baghdad, the U.S. military said. No further details were released.

In Baghdad, sounds of heavy gunfire and explosions rattled the Sadr City district
starting about 1 a.m. Monday. Iraqi government television and aides to radical Shiite
cleric Muqtada al-Sadr said U.S. aircraft were attacking buildings in the area.

"Several aerial and ground raids began in central Sadr City," al-Sadr aide Jaleel
al-Nouri said by telephone as detonations could be heard in the background.
"We can see several houses on fire."

5. Let us not forget that we're getting OUR asses kicked in the Middle
East. By people this administration likes to call terrorists. But who are just the citizens of the defenseless country we attacked without provocation.

killing a lot of civilians in the process. How is this different from the bombing of Beirut?

A lot of those purple fingers we saw voters hold for the benefit of the Western press, are now on the trigger of an AK-47.

I wonder if Joe Momentum knows about this. The "Great Experiment" has failed, to to rethink, retool, and react.

May OUR (stress is on OUR-WE THE PEOPLE), Troops rest in peace.:-(

9. Make room for three more.......

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.

15. What a 'safe' environment
that "Blackhawk Down" Lt. Commander has created for the US military. The guy is great at passing out knives, but has no ability to anticipate cause/effect issues.
