MARLTON, N.J. (AP) -- An 82-year-old World War II veteran has sued his former landlords after he was evicted from an apartment building for allegedly making terroristic threats.
The dispute centers on notes Martin Dubin posted in the lobby of his Cherry Hill apartment building last April. Dubin said he put up the notes in an attempt to track down the person who hit his car in the apartment parking lot and drove off.
Dubin's letter of lease termination said the notes contained phrases like, "I will hunt you down like Saddam Hussein," and "I will get you -- just like Bush will win with Saddam Hussein."

Dubin was evicted in April, and has since moved to Marlton. He filed suit in Superior Court in Camden County over the summer seeking unspecified damages and claiming defamation of character, infliction of emotional distress and violations of landlord-tenant laws. The case is scheduled for arbitration in the next few months.

"There certainly was no violence implied," he told The Philadelphia Inquirer. "I happened to mention President Bush because he was on a vendetta to get Saddam Hussein. And I was on a vendetta to find the person who hit my car."
