ABC News: N. Korea Appears to Be Preparing for Nuclear Test

Aug. 17, 2006 — There is new evidence that North Korea may be preparing for an underground test of a nuclear bomb, U.S. officials told ABC News.

"It is the view of the intelligence community that a test is a real possibility," said a senior State Department official.

A senior military official told ABC News that a U.S. intelligence agency has recently observed "suspicious vehicle movement" at a suspected North Korean test site.

6. Calm Down! He's just wiring
his secret underground vacation home for cable
so he can get free porn and DU
(or maybe Fox News)

You never know

Kim Jung might just be ill

U.S. officials caution that the intelligence is not conclusive. Last year U.S. spy satellites picked up suspicious activity at suspected test sites in North Korea, leading some to predict an imminent nuclear test, but nothing happened.

7. Are these the same yahoo's that said Saddam had WMD's?
I partly wish N. Korea and Iran gets them. It would prevent another useless war perpetrated by this criminal regime. Why should the US have a monopoly one them? We are after all, the only country to actually use them.

13. Yellow snow
but I was pretty certain that it wasn't because of radioactivity. It was milk that was worrisome due to strontium 90.

12. We should of course nuke them if they do, just like we nuked
Pakistan and India after they tested their bombs. (And Israel of course, but Israel doesn't officially have a bomb and never officially tested it with South Africa's help.)

Gee the WarFearWarFearWarFear is certainly in full swing these days. What's next?

20. Its Cristmas at ground zero...
The button has been pressed,
The radio just let us know that this is not a test.

It's Chrismas at ground zero,
There's panic in the air,
The sleigh bells are ringin' and the carolers are singin' while the air-raid sirens blare.

It's Christmas at ground zero,
Just seconds left to go,
We can dodge debris while we trim the tree underneath the mushroom cloud.

What a crazy fluke, we're gonna get nuked,
On this jolly, holidaaaaaaaaay!

Duck and cover, kids. Duck and cover.
