NEWSWEEK Poll: A possibly revolutionary innovation in stem-cell research hasn’t changed American opinions on the topic. Meanwhile, Bush’s approval rating dips to 36 percent.

The Shrub had an uptick last week in a couple polls, but the CBS and Newsweek polls over the past couple days had him back in the mid 30's. YEAHH!

18. I'm thinking of something else, a little more
substantial, the grounded planes where left over residue from the British story.

Maybe something more domestic in it's origin, maybe like the Miami story.

I think because New Orleans is gonna loom large on the American conscious,
the media/administration will come up with something.

24. So will the coming week be a terror week or a hate week?
Don't they give one week a chance to sink in to the public consciousness before they start the next one?

15. I have witnessed a growing split among Republicans..
most of the growing opposition to Bush is among younger Republicans in their 20's and 30's. Most of the hardcore Bush supporters, who rarely listen, are either babyboomers or older.

have you observed this?

12. 49% on the handle terrorism question
We all need to understand that with Democrats enjoying the lead on all other issues, in some cases by overwhelming margins, all we need to do is draw even on the terrorism issue.

Edited on Sun Aug-27-06 01:27 AM by wellst0nev0ter
from the London terra plot to burying the dip. Gawd they are so transparent.

On edit: It's even worse, his approval rating on terra-ism has plunged from 55% in the last poll to 49%, and these press whores still call it a fuggin "silver lining." Christ on a trailerhitch. . .
