10. Exactly. The new plane crash news broke right before the Karr DNA news.
So that's where we are.

I've searched Lexington and Cincinnati news, as well as the AP, Reuters, and MSNBC, CNN, FOX and no further update.

Another poster on this thread heard the story too... I'll continue to search for a validating link.

11. WLEX has info on a small plane going down off Hwy 15
The Hazard Airport has confirmed that a small plane has gone down off Highway 15, near Ned, in rural Breathitt County.

Hazard Kentucky State Police and area fire departments are responding.

LEX 18 will have more on this developing story as details become available.

Breaking News out of the Action News 36 newsroom. Another plane has crashed in Kentucky. This time in Breathitt County. We're told the small plane crashed just a short time ago. No word on how many people were on board, or if there were any survivors. We have a crew on the way to the scene and will have a full report coming up later on Action News at 5.

THE PRESS DEMOCRAT

At least two people died Monday morning in a plane crash south of Petaluma, emergency officials said.

The plane, believed to be an amateur-built, experimental aircraft, crashed into a hillside east of Highway 101 near the Sonoma-Marin county line.

The plane is registered to a Novato man but the identities of the pilot and passenger had yet to be confirmed.

Also unknown were when the crash occurred and from where the flight originated
