Saddam Hussein regarded al-Qaida as a threat rather than a possible ally, a Senate report says, contradicting assertions
President Bush has used to build support for the war in
Iraq. The report also newly faults intelligence gathering in the lead-up to the 2003 invasion.

Osama hated Saddam. Osama hated Saddam because he was a secularist, and Iraq actually let women have rights. Osama wanted to raise an army to fight Sadddam when Kuwait was invaded in 1990. This has only been well known for 15 years now.

It's all fine to show that there wasn't any connection, but to really drive a stake into the place where hearts should be, we should show that they KNEW THIS. They not only knew all of this, they deliberately decieved the Congress and the people. The biggest direct lie Junior's blathered (that I know of) was this: "we didn't have the slightest inkling there was anything wrong with the intelligence".
