White House Lists Book's 'Five Key Myths' (in Woodward's Book)

White House Lists Book's 'Five Key Myths'

The White House went on the offensive yesterday against a new book that reports President Bush resisted demands to boost U.S. troop numbers in Iraq and misled Americans about the level of violence there.

...

The White House responded with a document titled "Five Key Myths in Bob Woodward's Book." It cited speeches over the past year in which Bush acknowledged problems, and it quoted officials including Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and Marine Corps Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, defending troop levels.

"State of Denial" reports that former White House chief of staff Andrew H. Card Jr. twice urged Bush to fire Rumsfeld, whom critics accuse of botching the Iraq war. One of the times, Card did so with the concurrence of first lady Laura Bush, according to Woodward.

Card has denied leading a "campaign or orchestrated effort" to oust Rumsfeld, and he said Friday that any discussions of Cabinet changes were in a "broader context."

The White House said Laura Bush's office has denied she wanted Rumsfeld removed.

1. The more they deny and the more virulant they get about their
denials the more Americans want to know if 9/11 could have been prevented.

If Condi knew on 9/10 that a terrorist event was impending she should be prosecuted.....all of them should!! And she is a fool if she thinks that Rove and company won't throw her black ass under the bus to save themselves.....Condi better wake up because she is first on the list to go....sound familiar? Colin Powell except Powell tried to want the admin about the Iraq debacle before it occurred....Condi did nothing...

3. Well, the title of the book is "STATE OF DENIAL" .....lol
It is beyond irony, the more they deny
the facts of the book called "STATE OF DENIAL"
the more they look like deniers.

7. Really it is more like.."I'm a denier decider"

"I deny facts and then make my decisions from my denial of the facts."
Take global warming for example......
Take intelligence from allies concerning Iraq
Take New Orleans before and after.

8. junior thinks he is the hero that serves as a fundamental type in
the world view of a people, by explaining aspects of the natural world and delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of a society.

...and then they're those who believe him.

5. You would think Bob Woodard would know better.
"Myth Creation" is a wholly owned and patented process of Bushco.

Any use of the "Myth Creation" process without the expressed written consent of Bushco is prohibitted.

Some people say that Fox News has been granted limited license of the "Myth Creation" process.

Examples of the process include, but are in no way limited to the following:

1. Saddam Hussein has sought to obtain uranium from Niger.

2. Saddam Hussein was involved in the Sept. 11th attacks.

3. The President hasn't made a final decision to go to war with Iraq.

4. Declaring an end to major combat operations in Iraq.

11. There's only ONE myth...
and that's that this so-called "president" and his cadre of corruption give a tinker's damn about anything other than enriching themselves and their friends, while retroactively legalizing every criminal activity they've ever undertaken.
