Rosalynn Carter campaigns for son
Former first lady Rosalynn Carter was very much the leader of the Carter campaign clan as she stumped Friday for her son in Reno.

Alongside two sons, a daughter-in-law and a grandson, Rosalynn, 79, campaigned for son Jack Carter, who is running for the U.S. Senate.

Jack, 59, the eldest son of former President Jimmy Carter, is running a tough race against Republican incumbent John Ensign.

"I'd like to think Jack's secret weapon is his family out working for him and meeting people," she said. It's a strategy, she said, that put her husband in the White House.

3. no offense - but what does that have to do with anything?
I don't know if christians realize how uncomfortable it makes the rest of us when christianity gets merged with politics. I have great respect for Jimmy Carter but I don't understand the need to point out what a 'good' christian he is. Or even what his 'goodness' has to do with christianity - as if the two concepts were synonymous.

4. I read the post as real Christian not 'good' Christian
Though I guess I can understand how you jumped to that conclusion. Carter's are 'good' people and they are also Christian so I see when they were described as 'real' Christian you used their most outstanding feature to correlate to. Easy to do but makes your point not as valid.
