Bush to make rare campaign visit
26 October 2006

President George W Bush is due to visit the state of Iowa, in the country's heartland, to campaign with Republican Congressional candidate Jeff Lamberti.

The visit comes amid a growing debate over whether the president should or should not be campaigning harder in the 7 November mid-term elections.

Polls suggest that the Democrats may be on course to win control of one or both houses of Congress.

Mr Bush is doing much less campaigning than he has in previous elections.

There goes Lamberti's chances of winning.

Charge double what you normally charge, make it $1,000 per plate dinner. Make it memorable.

13. Gov candidate Jim Nuss-Hole skips event
Edited on Thu Oct-26-06 01:51 PM by Rambis
He is claiming that speaking to the rotary in the same town and can't get there. It is a joke-
For those of you who don't know. Deficit Jim is a man who divorced his wife and downs syndrom child (he used in his first campaign for "family values") to marry a newt gingerich staffer whom had an adulterous affair with months after arriving in Washington DC.

Here are direct quotes about his faith...

"My relationship with jesus Christ was cemented with the birth of my oldest child, who was born with Down syndrome and who is a constant source of challenge and joy."

The day after she was horn I was told by my friend and minister that God gives special children to special parents and I will need to spend a lifetime trying to earn that title with gods help.

DES MOINES — President Bush and Republican candidate for governor Jim Nussle both will campaign in Des Moines today, just not in the same place.

Nussle is skipping Bush’s campaign stop at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Instead, the congressman from Manchester will speak to the Rotary Club of Des Moines and to the fall conference of the Health Care Financial Management Association.

Nussle’s campaign insisted his tight schedule is to blame.

“We had a previous commitment that was made months ago,” said Nussle’s spokesperson Maria Comella. “We didn’t want to back out.”

He is a scum bag of epic proportions!
