Rove: Military Must Be Flexible in Iraq
Presidential advisor Karl Rove blasted Democrats on Friday for even suggesting the U.S. withdraw from Iraq, saying the U.S. can't leave one of the world's largest oil reserves in terrorist hands.

However, Rove also said the military must be flexible in its tactics.

"More sacrifice is going to be required,"Rove, President Bush's chief political strategist, told a ballroom full of Republicans at a fundraiser for Wisconsin candidates."

His remarks came on the day Iraq's prime minister and the U.S. ambassador issued a joint statement reaffirming the two countries"good and strong"relationship.

12. I think Turd-Blossom should be declared an Enemy Combatant. It's that simple.
The US is being destroyed from within. Republicans are a bigger threat to the US than Iraq ever was. It's a shame that they are so selfish, so willfully ugly and so fucking incompetent. Face it. The US republic is lost.

Republican opinion is equal to or better than facts. -S. Colbert

4. Rove told a ballroom full of Republicans at a fundraiser:
"The U.S. can't leave one of the world's largest oil reserves in terrorist hands."

Translation: "We can't allow the revenues of one of the world's largest oil reserves to line the pockets of anyone other than ourselves."

"More sacrifice is going to be required."

Translation: "Your next big tax cut may be delayed for a few weeks."

6. Rove should be in prison so he'd have to be flexible like Ned Beatty in
Deliverance.

Where does a candy ass sack of shit like him get off saying anything about the military making sacrifices?

Maybe he has finally gotten so full of himself he has lost all sight of reality.

why don't you pack your bag and carry your fat, bloated pink ass to Iraq, spend a week or so on the ground and then tell us with a straight face that the military has to be "flexible". I'd love to here your "assessment", (this from a man who never served anywhere, not even the bloody scouts, for crying out loud), and give us your on the ground determination of the flexibility.

20. In other words
we can't let the Iraqis have their oil back because all Iraqis are terrorists.

This is why we are in Iraq and staying the course no matter what. It's all about holding the oil fields and BushCO is going to hold those fields even if it means killing every single Iraqi and few US Troops to do it.

29. What's Rove's Military Background ?
? Political strategist/ military advisor? One characteristic of this White House seems to be the abundance of skewed pol. advice and relative scarcity of military knowledge.

Just curious.. what is Rove's background?
