Iraq: Arab League Open To Dialogue With Insurgents, Report Says
The Arab League is preparing a second round of consultations between Iraq's political parties to resume national dialogue and is also assesssing opening up to dialogue with some groups in the Iraqi insurgency, according to a report in pan-Arab daily al-Sharq al-Awsat.

The paper quoted league sources as saying it was considering talks with "combattents involved in the struggle against the occupier" without specifying which insurgent groups.
