Bush, in Georgia, Assails Democrats on Iraq
WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 — President Bush campaigned in a crucial House district in Georgia today, telling a friendly audience that he foresees victory in Iraq eventually and victory over the Democrats next week.

“If you listen carefully for a Democrat plan for success, they don’t have one,” Mr. Bush declared at a rally at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. “Iraq is the central front in the war on terror, yet they don’t have a plan for victory.”

Instead, Mr. Bush said, Democrats have simply “come up with a lot of creative ways to describe leaving Iraq before the job is done.”

3. It's not their job to come up with a plan sir! IT'S YOURS!
When we take back the House and the Senate, it will STILL be YOUR JOB! You started this mess...remember? It sure would be nice if you cleaned up your mess yourself in the next 2 years, and not leave it for someone else like you always do!

5. To the best of my recollection...
Democrats weren't allowed in on any of the planning or execution of the Iraq Invasion/Land Grab/Oil Theft/Contractor Job Fair.

So, therefore, it can't possibly be their fault that there's STILL NO PLAN.

7. The reason Dems don't have a "plan for success" is that
the Iraqi Resistance has defeated the U.S. Of course, it would take a courageous Dem to actually speak that bald truth directly to the American people (Howard Dean, where are you when we need you?). Former ambassador Peter Galbraith said the "stench of death and defeat hangs over the U.S. mission in Iraq" on Ian Masters' Background Briefing on KPFK (Pacifica) three Sundays ago. That's the closest I've heard any establishment politico come to saying that we have lost.

On friendly turf, Bush scoffs at Dems' optimism
POSTED: 12:59 p.m. EST, October 30, 2006

STATESBORO, Georgia (AP) -- President Bush, faced with polls that show his party's hold on Congress slipping, said Monday that Democrats haven't won anything yet.

"You know what I know -- this election is far from over," Bush said at a Republican rally at Georgia Southern University, campaigning for House candidate Max Burns.

He mocked talk of Democrats already considering which offices they'll take if they win control of Congress

12. Nancy answered a reporter's question by saying she would choose any
office she wants. bush has turned that into "measuring drapes". meanwhile, bush is measuring stacks of cash his cronies are stealing from Iraq to give him when he gets out of office. just watch the job he takes when he gets out... halliburton or some other giant war profiteer will hand him sacks of gold.

Kind of like the way he made appointments to his administration before SCOTUS even heard the FL election case? Perhaps in both cases, he knew he'd already paid for what he knew was going to be delivered.
