Nov. 13, 2006
Two Task Force Lightning Soldiers killed, two others wounded

Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – Two Task Force Lightning Soldiers assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team,
82nd Airborne Division, were killed Sunday when a suicide vehicle-borne improvised
explosive device detonated near their vehicle while conducting operations in Salah ad
Din Province.

Two other Soldiers were wounded in the blast and were transported to a Coalition forces
medical treatment facility.

The names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

I was just mentioning that that is the previous great claim to fame of the 25th Infantry Division.

I'm not military at all. Sorry for the confusion. It was a result of my poor writing more than anything else!
