WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Executives from the Big Three U.S. automakers are meeting with President George W. Bush Tuesday to press their concerns about health care and trade issues.

General Motors Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Rick Wagoner, Ford Motor Co. Chief Executive Alan Mulally and Tom La Sorda, president and chief executive officer of Daimler Chrysler AG's Chrysler Group, are expected to present their case to Bush at a long-sought White House meeting Tuesday afternoon.
...........

Bush would "also thank them for some innovative activities such as creating flex-fuel vehicles and hybrids" that help the United States "wean ourselves from an addiction to oil, especially foreign oil," Snow said.

............

The executives are expected to raise four main issues in the meeting: energy policy; health-care; trade, including concerns about possible currency manipulation; and rising costs for materials, particularly steel.
