CNN: House GOP conservatives go down in defeat in leadership races
House GOP conservatives go down in defeat

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The decisive losses of Reps. Mike Pence of Indiana and John Shadegg of Arizona in the House GOP leadership races is a crushing defeat for the GOP's conservative caucus -- The Republican Study Committee.

Rep. Jeff Flake of Arizona, another member of the RSC, called the results "disappointing" and said sticking with the old leadership will make it more difficult to win back the majority in two years.

1. Republicans bitterly divided!
Actually, it's true--the corporatists and the fundies can barely stand the smell of each other. How they held it together this long is the great mystery.

7. They create those type people every five minutes, there is no shortage
Of people who live for intimidation and belittling others. The GOP is a virtual storehouse of those type people

6. That's co-called "conservativism' since there's nothing conservative
about spending tax dollars like drunken sailors to benefit corrupt cronies, nation building, and trashing the environment that your children and grandchildren will absolutely require for survival.

The republicons are radicals, not conservatives.
