World is Becoming Ahmadinejadised, Says Iran President
Edited on Wed Nov-22-06 01:07 AM by ECH1969
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said the world is rapidly becoming Ahmadinejadised and global leaders have started following in his footsteps, press reports said yesterday.

I have travelled to all the continents except for one and I know what is going on out there. Everybody is eager to hear the Iranian peoples message, the reformist Aftab-Yazd newspaper quoted the president as saying.

The world is rapidly becoming Ahmadinejadised. The austere hardliner said that Iran's two big missions are constructing the country and introducing a model for humanity.

7. There are LOTS of crazy people in the world ....
He is only one ....

A thought: WHY do I miss Yitzhak Rabin ? ..... because he was a TRUE statesman ? ....

Where are the REAL peacemakers ? ....

Why is peacemaking and consensus building so out of fashion ? ....

Why do they kill the REAL peacemakers, and allow these flimflam artists to prosper ? ...

8. I like this guy for one simple fact.
He has a tendency, as do his statements, to cause instant aneurysms upon nearby right-wingers. Domestic, European, or Israeli. Which is really ridiculous since this guy and his statements are irrelevant in the bigger scheme of things. But it sure exposes right-wingers as bumbling dumbfucks.

15. Statements as far fetched as this show that this guy is not a real threat
But I doubt that giving right-wingers more fodder to drum up for war is EVER a good thing, even with a Democratic government.

12. What a horribly written article
Edited on Wed Nov-22-06 03:40 AM by ThsMchneKilsFascists
for example

“Someone even told me that he had vowed to say Salavats (a one-line formula to praise the Prophet Mohammed) as many times as my electoral votes count,” Ahmadinejad said, referring to his June 2005 shock win by more than 17 million votes over pragmatist cleric Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

The author had electoral votes counted? huh?
And someone told him/her these were Ahmadinejad's words. Was he/she even there?

20. Poor translation or not...
This guy is way more laughs than either Bush or Olmert.

But this guy really needs a image consultant -- good move on the blog, but if you want to make your name a 'verb', then it helps that people should be able to pronounce it when it was a 'noun'.

27. He is nuts
But he has gained some legitimacy. The reason is George Bush. It doesn't matter how insane, evil, or horrible a Middle East leader is, Bush's policies will make them appear reasonable. Bush is so bad, he makes Ahmadinejad and his ilk look good to the rest of the world.

Just watch, when Saddam is put to death on October 31, 2008, Bush's insane tactics may actually make Saddam into a worldwide martyr. Something no one thought possible 10-15 years ago.

30. If he means
the world is batshit insane and seems to be controlled by religious fanatics, then I suppose he's correct.

Of course, by that same reasoning, we could say it's been Bushified.
